The legal basis for our legitimate interest in a secure online presence is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.

4. orders in the online store, customer account
If you would like to order something in our online store, a customer account will be created for you. For this purpose, it is necessary to provide certain personal data, such as address or e-mail address, in order to process your order and to serve you as a customer. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DS-GVO. In order to provide our contractual services, it may be necessary to pass on personal data to subcontractors or transport companies. Processors used by us are carefully selected and bound to data secrecy. Processing of your data for other than contractual purposes is excluded. All customer data will be deleted at the latest after the expiry of existing warranty obligations, except for data that we must retain due to legal requirements (e.g. according to AO or HGB). This legal obligation to retain data according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. c DS-GVO applies in particular to order and payment data. Processing for other purposes is excluded. You can of course deactivate your customer account at any time.

5. contact form
On our website you have the possibility to contact us via a contact form. Required information is your name and phone number, and of course your request. After we hopefully could answer your questions, your contact data will be deleted.

6. use of cookies
Cookies are small text files that can be sent from a website to the browser of the visiting computer and stored there. A distinction is made between session cookies, which are deleted again as soon as you close your browser, and permanent cookies, which remain stored beyond the individual session. If the cookies are set by the responsible party, they are referred to as first-party cookies; if they are set by third parties, they are referred to as third-party cookies. Cookies can store information about certain settings that are not personally identifiable, such as login status or language settings. On the other hand, cookies can also store user interests that are used for range measurement or marketing purposes. You can check your cookie settings and revoke your consent at any time via the following link. We would like to point out that in the system settings of your browser there is also the option to deactivate the storage of cookies altogether or for individual cookies, for example only for third-party providers. Cookies that have already been saved can also be deleted there.

7. online marketing
In online marketing, pseudonymized user profiles are usually created and stored in a cookie. The stored information may include websites visited and content, online networks used, location data or technical information such as the operating system used. These cookies can later generally also be read on other websites that use the same online marketing procedure and analyzed for the purpose of displaying content as well as supplemented with further data and stored on the server of the online marketing procedure provider.

7.1 Google Tag Manager
We use the Google Tag Manager, which makes it possible to manage various website tags via one interface. The Tag Manager neither sets cookies nor creates user profiles. Google only learns the IP address of the user, which is necessary to run the Tag Manager. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DS-GVO.

7.2 Google Analytics
This website uses the functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street Dublin 4, Ireland. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DS-GVO.

The information generated by the cookies is usually transferred to a server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on our website (so-called anonymizeIp), your IP address will be shortened beforehand within the member states of the European Union and will not be merged with other data from Google. All user data will be deleted after 14 months. More information about the handling of user data at Google Analytics can be found in Google's privacy policy.

7.3 Google Ads
We use the online marketing method Google Ads to optimize the placement of ads in the Google advertising network. If you access our website via an ad placed by Google, Google Ads sets a cookie for conversion measurement. Conversion measurement is the term used to measure the success of ad campaigns. In this way, it can be measured, for example, how many visitors to an ad actually became interested parties or buyers for the advertised product (=conversion). However, we do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. The conversion cookie does not contain any personal data and automatically loses its validity after 90 days at the latest; for most conversions, however, the recording period is a maximum of 30 days. For more information on data usage and settings and opt-out options, please see the settings for advertising by Google https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated and the privacy policy of Google https://policies.google.com/privacy.

7.4 Facebook Pixel
We use the so-called "Facebook Pixel" of the social network Facebook (Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland). With the help of the Facebook Pixel, it is possible for Facebook to determine visitors to our website as a target group for the display of advertisements. Accordingly, we use the Facebook pixel to display Facebook ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our online offer or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited) that we transmit to Facebook (so-called "Custom Audiences"). With the help of the Facebook pixel, we also want to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of users and do not have a harassing effect. With the help of the Facebook pixel, we can further track the effectiveness of the Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DS-GVO.

7.5 Hotjar
We use the web analytics service HotJar (Hotjar Ltd., Level 2 St Julians Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julians STJ 1000, Malta). HoJar can be used to determine movements and interactions. It tells us which buttons users click on a page or how far down a page they scroll. HotJar can also be used to conduct user surveys. We use this information to make the website easier to use. Personal data is not processed. The legal basis is consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) a) DSGVO. You can stop this processing by deactivating HotJar by clicking the button on the following page: https://www.hotjar.com/legal/compliance/opt-out. For more information on the data protection of Hotjar Ltd, please visit: https://www.hotjar.com/privacy

8. integration of third-party services and content
8.1 YouTube with enhanced data protection
For the integration and display of video content, we use components of the video portal YouTube. With this integration, content from the YouTube website is displayed in parts of a browser window. The integration of YouTube content only takes place in "extended data protection mode". YouTube itself provides this mode and thus ensures that YouTube does not initially save any cookies on your device. If a YouTube video is started, however, the usage data mentioned in point 3, such as the IP address, are transmitted and thus in particular communicated which of our Internet pages you have visited. However, this information cannot be assigned to you unless you have logged in to YouTube or another Google service (e.g. Google+) prior to the page view or are permanently logged in.

8.2 Google Maps
The map service "Google Maps" is integrated on our website to enable our customers to easily find our location. The processed data may include, in particular, your IP address and your location data, which, however, will not be collected without your consent. This data is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there, over which we have no control. You can find more information about data processing by Google in the Google privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. There you can also change your personal privacy settings in the Privacy Center. Detailed instructions on how to manage your own data in connection with Google products can be found here: https://www.dataliberation.org.

8.3 Facebook Plugins (Like & Share Button)
Plugins of the social network Facebook, provider Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA, are integrated on this website. To ensure data protection, we only use these plugins together with the so-called "Shariff" solution. This application prevents the plugins integrated on this website from transmitting data to the respective provider when you first enter the page. Only when you activate the respective plugin by clicking the associated button, a direct connection to the provider's server is established. As soon as you activate the plugin, Facebook receives the information that you have visited this website with your IP address. If you are logged in to Facebook at the same time, Facebook can assign the visit to this website to your user account.

9. online presences in social media
Petsuns maintains various online presences, such as its own Facebook page or its own YouTube channel, in order to be able to communicate with active users and to inform them about news, Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. At no time do we collect or process personal data in the process. We would like to point out that we have neither knowledge nor influence on the extent to which user data is processed by the operators of the platforms. It is possible that this data may be used by the platform operators to create user profiles, which in turn may be used to place personalized advertisements. If you are already a registered user of the platform and logged in at the same time, there is also the possibility that your user behavior will be linked to your profile. For a detailed description of the respective processing and the objection options, we refer to the information of the providers linked below.
